Commissions
The City of Chico currently has five advisory bodies which are the Airport Commission, Arts Commission, Bidwell Park and Playground Commission, Climate Action Commission, and Planning Commission. Advisory bodies play an important role in City Government by assisting and advising the City Council in formulating and implementing policy. Advisory bodies also develop recommendations and present supporting information to the City Council.
