Oversized Load Permit
Any load traveling within the City of Chico right-of-way that exceeds the limits specified in the California Vehicle Code “Division 15. SIZE, WEIGHT, AND LOAD,” and under Chico Municipal Code “Title 10,” will be required to apply for an Oversized Load Permit.
THERE IS A THREE WORKING-DAY MINIMUM PROCESSING TIME ON ALL COMPLETE APPLICATIONS.
Required Documents
- Insurance must be approved by Risk Management prior to permit issuance. Email all documents to risk-management@Chicoca.gov with subject line
“Over Sized Load Permit - Insurance Review.” - Application must be submitted as a digital form fillable .pdf through our online portal eTRAKiT.
