The 2024 Pavement Preservation Project consists of fourlocations in Chico that will receive slurry seal, cape seal, or microsurfacing treatment. Please refer to each of the sections below for more information on the work to be completed at each location. This project is funded by Measure H.

 

For the Parkhurst Neighborhood location, a slurry seal treatment will occur throughout the neighborhood. The neighborhood will also receive new striping within these limits.

 

A cape seal treatment will occur from Humboldt Road to the second cattle grate on Stilson Canyon Road. 

 

A 300-foot secction of Humboldt Road, located between Bruce Road and Stilson Canyon Road, will receive a microsurface treatment.

 

For Upper Park Road, a cape seal treatment will occur from the limits of the Manzanita roundabout to Lot E in Upper Bidwell Park. The separated bike path along Upper Park Road will also get a cape seal treatment.
