Vehicle Collision into a Residence

On October 5, 2020, at approximately 0308 hours, Chico Police officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of Fern Ave for a reported vehicle collision.  Witnesses stated a vehicle had collided with a residence in the area.  Officers responded and located the vehicle collision.  Shortly after, another call for service for a domestic dispute was reported in the area.  Officers responded and spoke with the victim.  The victim indicated she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend.  The victim had injuries consistent with being a victim of an assault.  From the investigation, Officers confirmed both incidents were connected.  The investigation is on-going.
