Missing Woman suffering from Dementia

On 9/17/20, Officers were dispatched to Walmart (2044 Forest Ave, Chico CA) regarding a report of a missing elderly female, Kathleen Marie Callen (66 years old).  The reporting party described Callen as suffering from dementia.  Officers arrived on scene and learned that Callen had become separated from her boyfriend while shopping.  Employees of the store determined that Callen had left the store.  After several hours of searching, Chico Police Officers were contacted.  Officers were unsuccessful in locating Callen.  Callen has recently lost her residence in Paradise due to a fire and has no ties to the Chico area.  According to the reporting party, she is very unfamiliar with Chico.
