True Value Hardware Store Robbed with Pepper Spray

On Monday, 02/17/2020 at approximately 1:15 PM, the Chico Police Department responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at the True Value Hardware Store in the 200 block of W. East Avenue, Chico.  A store employee reported that he confronted a suspect stealing power tools.  The suspect attacked the employee with pepper spray and fled the store with stolen property via bicycle.  The suspect was described as a white adult male wearing black clothing.
