Traffic Collision

On 05/01/2021, around 9:22 AM, the Chico Police Department received a report of a traffic collision at Cohasset Rd. and Eaton Rd. The initial reports stated one driver had been ejected from a vehicle during the collision. Medical personnel were nearby and arrived on scene quickly.
The investigation revealed one vehicle was seen driving recklessly south on Cohasset Rd. just prior to the accident. Witnesses saw the vehicle enter the intersection at Eaton Rd. against a red light and broadside a vehicle traveling east through the intersection on Eaton Rd.
One driver was transported to a local medical facility as a precaution. The other driver was uninjured. It did not appear that either driver was ejected during the collision.
At the conclusion of the investigation, Michelle Robertson was arrested and cited for driving under the influence while operating a motor vehicle.
