Suspicious Package

On 3/16/2022, at about 3:30 PM, Chico Police received a call for service regarding a suspicious package inside a room at a local hotel. Once officers arrived and reviewed the package, they determined the package to be suspicious in nature. Due to the circumstances, a portion of the building was evacuated, and the Butte County Interagency Bomb Squad responded to the scene. Upon the Bomb Squads arrival, they took measures to render the package safe. No dangerous items were located.
