Stabbing Victim

On July 22, 2023, at approximately 12:18 a.m., Chico Police Officers responded to the report of a female suffering from a stab wound. Within minutes Officers located a female lying on the ground in the 600 block of West Sacramento Avenue, suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a local area hospital. This investigation is ongoing. Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact the Chico Police Department at (530)897-4911.
