Stabbing in South Chico

Shortly before midnight on 04/07/20, Chico Police Officers responded to a local medical facility to contact a stabbing victim. The victim reported fighting with an unknown male in South Chico. When the fight concluded the victim realized he was stabbed. The victim suffered several non-threatening injuries that he received treatment for before being released.

Suspect leads were limited as the incident occurred in a low light area. However, anyone who may have viewed an altercation in the area of E. 19th Street and Locust Street is asked to contact the Chico Police Department at (530)897-4900.
