Shots into a Residence

On Saturday January 8th, 2022, just after 11:30 pm, Chico Police began receiving calls of shots heard, near the intersection of California Park Dr. and Elderberry Ct., Chico, Ca. Officers responded to the area and located evidence of a shooting.
A home in the area was struck by gunfire. It is believed that the shooter might have been associated with a vehicle that was heard in the area just before the shooting.
No one was injured and Officers canvassed the adjacent homes to ensure all neighbors were safe.
This incident is under investigation, and we are asking anyone with information to call the Chico Police Department and reference case number 22-000160.
