Shooting

On March 29, 2021, at about 03:09 a.m., Chico Police Officers responded to Enloe Hospital to contact a male who was being treated for a single gunshot wound. The victim was dropped off at the hospital by subjects who immediately fled the area.
The victim of the shooting is expected to survive. Officers believe the shooting occurred somewhere in the Chico area.

We are asking the Public’s help in finding those responsible. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact the Chico Police Department and reference case # 21-001881.

It should be noted that we believe this shooting is a separate incident from the negligent discharge of a firearm (case #21-001877) reported earlier in the night on W. 5th Street.
