The 2021-2022 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) reports on specific federal housing and community development assistance allocated by the City of Chico for the period of July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. The CAPER discusses the City’s progress towards meeting the goals and objectives identified in the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan and specific activities described in the 2021-22 Annual Action Plan. The City of Chico prepared this report and plans to submit it to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) no later than September 30, 2022.
The 2021-2022 CAPER may be viewed at the City of Chico Housing Division, 411 Main Street, 2nd floor, in Chico between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. PUBLIC REVIEW AND CITIZEN COMMENTS
On Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at a regularly scheduled meeting, the Chico City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider the 2021-2022 CAPER. Public comment will be accepted through the end of the public hearing on September 20, 2022. All interested persons are invited and encouraged Public Participation Prior to the Meeting: The Engaged Chico civic engagement program will be available for citizen input on individual agenda items prior to the meeting and that program can be accessed through the City’s website at the link listed at: https://chico-ca.granicusideas.com/meetings. Engaged Chico commenting closes at 4:30 p.m. prior to the meeting. All interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend and comment in person. The public may view the meeting on Comcast Channel 11 or http://chico-ca.granicus.com/ViewPublisher.php?view_id=2. If interpretive assistance is required (for example; the hearing impaired, non-English speaking, or other accommodation), contact the City Clerk at 530-896-7250, at least 3 working days prior the meeting to make the appropriate arrangements. The City Council Agenda will be posted outside the Council Chambers at 421 Main Street at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.
