National Night Out

The Chico Police Department, in partnership with the local community, is excited to announce its participation in the 2023 annual National Night Out (NNO) event on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. This initiative aims to foster community engagement, strengthen neighborhood bonds, and promote safety and crime prevention.

National Night Out, which is celebrated nationwide, serves as a powerful reminder that when residents and law enforcement work together, we can create safer and more vibrant neighborhoods. The event encourages neighbors to get to know one another, build trust, and form vital partnerships that contribute to the overall well-being of our community.

Neighborhood residents are invited and encouraged to reconnect outside and organize a neighborhood party. Strong neighborhood connections foster safer communities.

If you plan on having a neighborhood party, please register it with the Chico Police Department at the following link, https://forms.office.com/g/ydVrfxsGHu. Representatives from the Department plan to visit registered NNO parties between 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

By participating in National Night Out, we send a powerful message that we stand together against crime and are committed to creating a safe and secure community for all.
