Home Invasion

On 6/20/20, at approximately 4 p.m., the Chico Police Dispatch Center received a call of a home invasion robbery which had just occurred in the 300 block of west 4th Avenue in Chico. Officers arrived within minutes and met with the victims. The suspect(s) had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. One of the victims of this crime suffered significant injury at the hands of the suspect, but is expected to recover from his injuries.

Because this investigation is ongoing, only limited information related to the identity of the suspect(s) and the status of the investigation will be released at this time.

What is important to note is that this crime appears to be specifically targeted. There is no evidence of an increased threat to the general public at this time.
