Funding Opportunities
The City Council has a policy which sets aside a percentage of the City’s General Fund for community arts organizations and projects located in the Chico Urban Area.
Typically, applications for funding are available at the end of January and reviewed by the Arts Commission in April. The Council considers the Commission’s recommendations and determines the final funding awards to the applicants. Funds for the July-June 30 fiscal year are released in August and January.
