On February 28, 2021, at about 8:45 pm, Officers on the weekend graveyard team conducted a proactive parole search of Omarr Lewis and his residence at 640 W. Sacramento Avenue, Chico. Inside the residence officers contacted Desiree Alleynne. Officers conducted a parole compliance search of the residence. Officers recovered methamphetamine, tear gas, a stun gun and ammunition. Officers contacted Omarr Lewis in the garage portion of the residence where he and several others were actively smoking methamphetamine. Officers conducted a parole compliance search of the garage. Officers recovered methamphetamine, several replica firearms and numerous pieces of stolen mail. Officers also recovered a Glock style 9mm “ghost gun” that was converted into a fully automatic pistol. It was loaded with an extended magazine.
Both subjects were booked into the Butte County Jail.
Alleyne was booked for possession of methamphetamine, felon in
possession of tear gas, felon in possession of a stun gun and
felon in possession of ammunition.
Lewis was booked for being a felon in possession of a firearm, a felon in possession of ammunition, possession of stolen property, armed while possessing methamphetamine, possession of a ghost gun, possession of a large capacity magazine and possession of a machine gun.
