Discharge a Firearm in Public

On October 31, 2020, at approximately 11:30 AM Chico Police Dispatch received 911 calls regarding gunshots being heard in the south Chico area.  Officers responded and located evidence of a firearm being discharged.  Witnesses in the area were interviewed and evidence was collected.  At this time there have been no reported injuries as a result of the shooting.  The investigation is open and active.

The Chico Police Department is requesting anyone who may have witnessed the shooting, or may have home surveillance that captured the incident, contact the Chico Police Department at 530-897-4900 (Reference CPD Case 20-005960).
