On Monday, October 30, 2023, around 2:30 p.m., Chico Police Officers responded to the 2000 block of Forrest Avenue for a report of a male decedent.

The subject was declared deceased. The death does not appear to be suspicious. The identity of the decedent is being withheld pending next of kin.
