Death in Public

On October 15, 2023, at approximately 1:39 PM, Chico Police Officers were dispatched to the area of the 2000 Block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. for a possible deceased person. Officers and medical personnel arrived and confirmed the subject was deceased. No obvious signs of foul play were located at the scene.

The identity of the decedent is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.
