Child Pornography Suspect Arrested

On 9/13/23, Chico Police Detectives served a Search Warrant in the 300 block of Rio Lindo Avenue, Chico. Detectives believed that a resident was in possession of child pornography, and they searched for evidence related to this investigation at this location.

Detectives obtained more evidence from the residence and subsequently contacted and arrested Carlos Dominguez (23 years old). Dominguez was in possession of over 600 images and videos of child pornography. Detectives obtained evidence that Dominguez was trading child pornography videos and images on the internet. Dominguez was transported to Chico Police Department for booking and later transported to Butte County Jail. Dominguez was arrested for a violation of 311.11(c)(1) PC, and 311.3(a) PC.
