On 6/11/20, at approximately 2204 hours, Chico Police Officers
were dispatched to The Peg Taylor Center located at 124 Parmac
Rd, Chico, CA for an alarm. When Chico Police Officers arrived
they noticed a window screen was off. A responsible to the center
was contacted and responded to the location. While Officers were
on scene, the alarm company continued getting motion activations
inside the building.
Officers with the assistance of Chico Police K9 Officer D. Martin along with his K9 Partner Aron, encountered an individual, later identified as Chad MOSIER, age 37, in the building. MOSIER was detained without incident and no other occupants were located.
From the investigation, Officers learned the center had several open drawers, items moved around, and MOSIER was in possession of property from the center. Ultimately, MOSIER was arrested for Burglary and transported to the Butte County Jail.
