Board & Commission Biennial Recruitment

Recruitment runs from November 1 - December 15


The City of Chico is seeking applicants interested in serving on a City Board or Commission.  To be eligible for appointment, you must be a resident of the City and a qualified voter (18 years or older). 

All six advisory bodies have positions to be filled and a summary of each board and its duties can be found here.2022 Board & Commission Summary    Applications and Supplementals are due by December 15th.

If interested in applying, you may download the forms provided on the webpage or pick up an application packet from the City Clerk’s office located at 411 Main Street on the 3rd Floor.  Once the required documents are completed, you may drop them off at the City Clerk office or mail them to “City Clerk, PO Box 3420, Chico 95927.” And should you have any questions, please call 530-896-7252 if you have questions.
