Bank Robbery

On March 24^th, 2023, at about 5:10 PM, The Chico Police Department received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at Members 1^st Credit Union, located at 550 Salem Street.  The male suspect exited the business and was last seen walking southbound on Salem Street. 

The first officer on scene arrived within a minute and a half of the dispatched call.  Multiple other officers responded to the scene and contacted a bank employee. Officers learned the male suspect entered the bank, produced a note, and demanded cash from one of the bank tellers. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank. Nobody was physically injured during the robbery, and no weapon was seen.

The suspect was described as a black male adult, medium build, wearing a dark-colored jacket, black ball cap, dark pants, sunglasses, and wearing a mask.
