Attempted Bank Robbery

On Thursday, October 27th, 2022, at 12:47 pm, the Chico Police Department received a call of an attempted bank robbery at the Tri Counties Bank on Pillsbury Rd. The suspect entered the bank and told the clerk to put money in a bag. The suspect acted as if he had a firearm, but no firearm was seen. The suspect fled before receiving any money from the bank. CPD patrol units were unable to locate the suspect in the area upon being notified of the crime.
The suspect was described as a white male adult, in his 20’s, with reddish blonde hair and about 6’3” in height. The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants. Anyone with information about this crime should call the Chico Police Department at 530-897-4900.
