Armed Robbery

On 2/23/2022 at approximately 1115 hours Chico Police received a 911 call from the Maisie Janes store located at 1324 Dayton Rd in Chico. An employee from inside the store reported that a male suspect entered the store, brandished a handgun, and demanded money from the registers. The employee complied with the suspects demands and handed over the cash. The suspect then left the store on foot. His last known location was walking northbound on Dayton Rd. The suspect was described as a white male, mid 20’s to early 30’s, slender, wearing jeans and a hooded sweatshirt. Officers from the Chico Police Department arrived and checked the area on foot and from vehicles but were not able to locate the suspect.
