Armed Robbery
Case# 20-005899
On the above date and time Chico Police officers responded to the
area of W. 12th St.
and Ivy St. for a reported robbery with a firearm. Officers
arrived and contacted a
male and female victim. The victims told officers they were
walking to an apartment
when they were confronted by two males, not known to them. The
suspects
demanded the male victim handover his wallet and cellular phone.
During the
incident, the suspects brandished a firearm and threatened to the
shoot the victims.
The male victim relinquished his wallet and cellular phone to the
suspects who then
fled on foot.
The victims described the two suspects as a black male adult, mid
20’s, wearing a
white hooded sweatshirt and pants. The second suspect was
described by the
victims as a light skinned Hispanic male adult, possibly a white
male adult, wearing a
black hooded sweatshirt and pants. In addition, officers
developed information that
the suspects may have left the location in a newer, white 4dr
sedan, possibly a
Mercedes.
Suspects-
Suspect 1: Black male adult, mid 20’s, wearing a white hooded
sweatshirt and pants.
Suspect 2: Hispanic male adult, possibly a light skinned white
male adult, wearing a
black hooded sweatshirt and pants.
The Chico Police Department takes all criminal activity serious
and will continue to
investigate this robbery. Anyone with information about the above
vehicle or the
