** Advisory – Preapproved ADU Building Plans Will No Longer Be Available Starting in January 2023 **

The updated California Building Code will go into effect in January 2023, and the current portfolio of preapproved ADU plans will no longer be compliant with the updated Building Code starting in January 2023.  Grant funds have been secured to update the plans with the updated Building Code.  The preapproved ADU building plans are being updated and revised, and are estimated to be available by the Spring 2023.  If you are planning to utilize one of the preapproved ADU plans, staff recommends submitting a site plan for review and approval in preparation for the release of the updated ADU plans which will be available in Spring 2023​.
