Scam Alert – PG&E
Our Public Safety Police and Fire Dispatch Center is recently receiving many calls from older adults about people (a scammer) calling them and posing as PG&E. The scammer claims to represent PG&E and that they are “converting to a new system due to COVID-19.” The victim is asked to make a payment over the phone or through money order, one suspect even offered to meet a victim at 7-11 to take payment.
