The Police Community Advisory Board (PCAB) is a link between the
Chico community and its police department working to enhance
communication and transparency between the department and the
public.
The Chico Police Department strongly embraces the philosophy of
Community Policing in all its daily operations and functions.
Community Policing makes it possible for the police and the
community to share responsibility for identifying, reducing,
eliminating and preventing problems that impact community safety
and order. By working together, the police and the community can
improve the quality of life in neighborhoods citywide.
The Police Community Advisory Board meets to focus on important
issues facing the City of Chico.
