Policing Review Ad Hoc Committee
At a recent meeting, the Council voted to establish an ad hoc review committee comprised of the Mayor and two Councilmembers, plus additional appointees from staff as well as our community to review the City’s current policing policies. Once completed, the Committee will make a presentation to the full Council.

Police Community Advisory Board
Chico Police Department
The Police Community Advisory Board (PCAB) is designed to be a link between the community and its police department to facilitate and enhance communication between the two.
Map Advisory Committee
The Map Advisory Committee (MAC) acts on all minor land divisions, boundary line modifications, mergers, minor changes and/or time extensions to previously approved subdivisions, and all tentative maps which convert existing buildings into condominium projects.
Zoning Administrator
The Zoning Administrator is an employee designated by the Community Development Director to conduct public hearings and approve or deny smaller project applications for minor design review, use permits, variances, and temporary use permits.
